Princess Diana was one of those people who was timeless. She spent her time serving others when as royalty, that was not expected of her. She was a loving mother and the most beautiful woman of her time, and I have to say her beauty carries over to today. Just look at her.
And the more I got to thinking about Princess Diana the more I just became sad that her life was ended so abruptly, but also how much she did accomplish during it. I kept thinking how great it would be to just show up to college, like Kate did, randomly be in a class with Prince William, and a couple years later, you are engaged to be royalty. What the luck huh?
But really aren't we all royalty? Don't we serve an awesome King? Aren't we called his Bride? The more I thought about that the more Princessy I felt. I am a Princess, and no one can tell me otherwise. You are a Princess or a Prince and we serve an everlasting King. How amazing is that? Romans 8:17 tells us how we are heirs- heirs with God and heirs with Christ. We have received his Spirit to live inside us to help carry out the joy and peace of Christ here on this work by doing his works. We are able to receive this Spirit because our King rose from the dead as Luke 24 tells us. He is Alive. My King is risen and Alive. He is here with me today and will be here with me tomorrow. He doesn't randomly come about his royalty by luck but is the giver of true life in His son and through His Spirit. How blessed are we to be the true royals.
"For your are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." -1 Peter 2:9
