Now I am not a cold weather person. at all. ask anyone i would much rather be tan and sitting on the beach than anywhere in the snow or cold. to me it just feels so dreary all the time in the winter. it gets dark way to early. it gets light in the morning way too fast. you have to wear a coat, all the time. it's not fun to drink cold ice water because your body is so cold already. now i might be exaggerating a little bit, but I'm sorry I just don't like the cold. but lately i have been biting my tongue. this weather outside is wonderful! it is actually bearable to walk out to the car. great for walks to the park and great days for zoo trips in memphis!!
This past weekend I rode over to Memphis with Maegan. We were visiting Kristen, our friend who lives in Memphis now working as a youth minister! We have missed her greatly and it is always fun to visit! Luckily I also got to use this trip to see my darling fiancé! His family came down on Friday night as well and we had a very eventful day on Saturday! I got to go yardsaling with Kristen and Maegan EARLY saturday morning and then off to the zoo with the Wood's. This was my favorite trip to the Memphis zoo I have ever taken. It is just so different with a two year old and seeing things through his eyes! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip!
