These past couple weeks I have been so lucky to go to 2 concerts within a week and then a musical this past weekend. Sara Bareilles one of my favorite singers and Burton took me to her concert at the Ryman last weekend. If you are not already a fan, you need to be. She is such a talented woman and can literally bring you to tears with her voice. I also went to Mat Kearney and Michael Franti Wednesday with my good friend Morgan. I have to say I have never seen so many fans so excited to see someone as I did at that concert. Their joy and energy was immediately given to me just by watching them enjoy this artist do something he loves. So if you want a really entertaining show-Michael Franti and Spearhead. You won't be disappointed.

This past weekend I also got to go to Memphis to see the Broadway musical "Wicked". This was my fourth time seeing it and it just gets better and better every time. There is something about dancing and singing in notes I can't even hear that really impresses me and makes me want to be a Broadway star, which I already am when I sing with the soundtrack. Even if you are a die hard fan of The Wizard of Oz and don't want to see this because you think it will ruin your childhood-well thats just dumb and you will be a better, more rounded person after experiencing this show. There aren't words for the talent these people possess and I am so glad God has blessed someone with that talent, because everyone knows it sure isn't me!
